Learning as a Lifestyle
LRNG's design took input from cities, youth programs, young people, branding consultants, leaders in Connected Learning, and the GlassLab team. We built a platform that complies with Open Badge standards and allows for authentic assessment.
An important feature that the Learning and Assessment team fought for was the separation of Evidence and Assessments (header image). This encourages the practice of Understanding by Design (UbD) and Evidence-Centered Design (ECD).
Below is my first prototype of a playlist intro video. The idea is to use a notable member of an affinity space (like pewdiepie) to introduce the key learning objectives/goals.
